Minset & Manifestation
Something I’ve really strived to work on over the last few months is having a more positive mindset. I think often when something crappy happens in our lives, we tend to let our emotions and negative thoughts take over. YOU are in control of your own mindset. If I could yell that from the rooftop, I would. YOU ARE IN CONTROL. If you want to have a good day, have a good day. When you wake up in the morning, what are your intentions for the day? Are you thinking - ugh another day at work? Or are you manifesting how you’d like your day to go?
Not to say things are perfect and don’t go wrong, but how do you react to those things? Do you tend to shut down? Do you get defensive? Do you think - nothing is going right today. Today is a bad day. Or do you think - okay this happened. How will I move forward and make sure I have a good day?
Old me would get very stressed when things didn’t go as planned. I’ll be honest - I’m a natural born planner. I like to know what to expect, when it will happen, etc. But, lately with all the big changes in my life, I’m learning to go with the flow and that I don’t need to have my life fully planned out. When things go wrong, IT’S OKAY. I’ll be OKAY. I believe in recognizing signs and that things happen for a reason. Whether or not I understand those reasons, is not important.
Manifestation essentially means bringing something tangible into your life through attraction and faith. For example, I’ve been wanting a second dog for awhile now, but just hadn’t found the perfect fit. I decided recently - I’m going to follow the signs I receive, and when the time is right, I will get that second dog. Guess what - within 2 days, I not only applied to a rescue organization, but my application was approved, I had a phone interview with the foster mom, and sweet Rayna is here now! She is such a sweetie, still puppy, but she loves to snuggle and Theo is adjusting to have a second pup with him. I manifested what I wanted. I kept a positive mindset and knew that when the time was right, I’d know.
There’s a lot more to manifestation that I need to learn about, but I’m excited to be on this journey of growth and self-reflection. If you have goals, go for them!! Even if you have fear of failing or things not working out - you never know until you try! xoxo
