My Authentic Unapologetic Self

Ever since I could remember, I’ve always found females just as attractive as males. As I’ve been working on my own personal growth and being my authentic self, I’ve realized that I am not ashamed of who I truly am. I am a bisexual, compassionate, driven, non-judgmental, outgoing, loving, stubborn, resilient, and proud human being. Throughout my entire life, I’ve always tried to fit into a box of how others wanted/expected me to be. I am naturally a people-pleaser and hate disappointing others.

Well, I am done with being someone I’m not. I am who I am, and I’m proud of it! I’m at that point of my life, where I know who I am and really don’t care if others don’t like me. I absolutely love building relationships with others, and hate conflict, but in doing that, I think I lost sight of myself and who I truly am.

This is MY coming out. I am ME. Take it or leave it. I’m going to keep doing me, growing, learning, and appreciating all that life has to offer. I’ve come so far over the last few months, and hope you’ll continue to join me in this journey called life. I am so proud of how hard I’ve worked to build my self-confidence and self-compassion. It hasn’t been easy, but very necessary as I become my true self.

If I could give anyone advice, I’d say - be YOU. Be authentic. Be unapologetic. Try not to sweat the small things in life. There’s so much to enjoy if you just open your eyes. It’s okay if not everyone likes you, because ultimately you are you and they are them. You choose how you want to live your life, after all it’s YOUR life. xoxo
